Good afternoon! Welcome to the Student Media Poll Newsletter for Feb. 8, 2022. Auburn is No. 1 in the men’s college basketball poll following a close call against SEC bottom feeder Georgia, while Notre Dame’s upset of NC State shook up women’s college basketball.
THIS WEEK’S POLLS:
⛹️♂️🏀 Auburn sneaks past Georgia, but remains No. 1. Two surging mid-majors, Saint Mary’s and Murray State, entered the rankings, while Wyoming gained ground in receiving votes.
⛹️♀️🏀 NC State fell two spots after an upset loss in South Bend. South Carolina remains the unanimous No. 1 team in the land, as has been the case all season long.
